Our service process

How will Neuronirvana support you?

We know that starting OT can feel overwhelming, so we’re here to make the process clear, supportive, and centred around what matters most to your family.

Initial Intake & Parent Consultation

The first appointment is parent-only and focused on understanding your child’s background, strengths, and areas of support. Together, we will identify your priorities and discuss what outcomes are most meaningful to your family.

Initial observation & Goal Setting session

We will meet your child to complete informal observations. We will work with you to set functional, family-centred goals to ensure the therapy is aligned with what matters most to your family.

Therapy Planning & Schedule of Supports

We will create a personalised Occupational Therapy Support Plan tailored to your child’s goals, strengths, and areas of support needed. This includes a proposed Schedule of Supports aligned with your NDIS plan or funding arrangement. We will also collaborate with you to schedule a block of therapy sessions for each funding period, ensuring that services are well-organised and delivered in line with your child’s priorities and available funding.

Ongoing Therapy Sessions

You will begin regular individual sessions, delivered in a way that supports your child’s participation and aligns with your family’s preferences (home, school, kindergarten or telehealth). Strategies will be shared to help you feel confident supporting your child in everyday life.

Progress Reviews

Therapy is delivered in planned blocks that align with your child’s goals and available funding. At the end of each block, we will review your child’s progress and reflect on what has been most helpful. Together, we decide on the next steps whether to continue with new goals or concluding therapy if your child has achieved what they set out to do.
